IRAS reporting error
1. Why do I still encounter error when I submit for IRAS Trial run
Ans: There is several reasons for the errors. Here are some of the common errors messages prompted from IRAS.
Cannot be blank when Address Type = F.
- Check that you have indicate 6-digit postal codes for all Singapore Address. Any lesser or more for overseas postal codes will be deemed as an error in the trial run.
- If you wish to indicate a foreign address in PayDay!, check that you have set the Address Country to the country origin of the address. Eg, for Malaysia Address, set the Address Country to MY
Invalid. Pls ensure both ID Type and ID no. is given correctly.
- Check that the IRAS type tallies with the NRIC or FIN no. Please go to Prepare Module > Personnel > IRAS and select the correct type.
- Eg. For Work Permit Holders, select Type 4 Work Permit by using the Drop Down List
- Ensure that the FIN Number is entered correctly under Prepare Module > Personnel > Statutory > MOM
- You have to ensure all NRIC cannot be more than or less than 9 characters.
Must be given as YYYYMMDD which falls within basis year and cannot be earlier than From Date.
- Check that the Commission Payment date is not be empty. You can rectified it by going to Print Report Module > IRAS Exports. Ensure that the Commission Date under Director's Fee is not empty. Key the date from 01/01/2008 to 31/12/2008.
Must be given as Y when compensation/retrenchment benefits is non-blank.
- One of the items being paid to employee is of compensation or pension nature. You are required to key in the approval date by IRAS. To rectified this, go to Prepare Module > Personnel > Select the employee who are affected by this error > IRAS > Key in the IRAS Approved Date.
